Little Stars (Ages 5-7)

In our weekly drama classes, children aged 5 to 7 will explore the basics of storytelling and character creation through imaginative play. Each session will begin with warm-up games to boost confidence and creativity. Participants will engage in role-playing activities that encourage them to express their emotions and ideas. They will also participate in simple improvisation exercises, helping them develop spontaneity and teamwork. Stage Star Storytime will be an integral part of the class, allowing children to learn how to convey a narrative through movement and voice.

Shooting Stars (Ages 8-12)

For children aged 8 to 12, our drama classes will focus on building performance skills and deeper character development. Each week, students will work on a variety of exercises to enhance their vocal projection, body language, and emotional expression. They will have opportunities to collaborate on short scenes and scripts, fostering teamwork and creativity. Additionally, we will introduce basic stagecraft techniques, including blocking and movement on stage. Regular feedback sessions will help students refine their skills and gain confidence in their performance abilities.

Rising Stars (Ages 13-17)

In the classes for ages 13 to 17, participants will delve into a more sophisticated exploration of theatre techniques and performance arts. They will engage in acting workshops that cover various styles, including contemporary and classical performances. Students will work on monologues and duologues, allowing for personal expression and further development of their acting range. Discussions on play analysis and character motivation will enrich their understanding of the dramatic arts. Additionally, they will collaborate on group projects that may lead to small scale performances, providing valuable stage experience and fostering a sense of community within the group.
